What are we achieving : “Success” or “Stress”?

Hi Friends,

Hope you all are doing good, I am back with few Buzz Words, Now-a-Days :                       “Success & Stress”

Everyone is having stress, talking about it, doing exercise, yoga, meditation  to get rid of it and we all happily discuss about our favorite word called “STRESS” 🙂

I have always heard “Precaution is Better than Cure“.

In case of “Stress”, we are trying to cure it, we are not taking any precautions to prevent it. Let me tell you how ?

Parent’s Fear: “My Kid will not left behind in race of

Being – Successful”, “Being – The Best”, “Being – At Top

And what’s wrong if we will put our kids in so many things, other kids are also doing so many activities (hobby classes : Dance, Singing, Instrument learning, Sports, Studies and so on), right?

Parents are “stressing” themselves and their Kids too instead of enjoying and satisfying with what potential their kids are having and what they are achieving. All fingers are not same, and they are not same for a reason. Then why we pressurize our kids to be same, to excel in every field, why we want, all 100/100 in each and every subject area?

Child with Heavy School Homework Book BagFear at Work : Everyone wants to reach at top (Dreams for CEO position till we retire).

Our Seniors always helps us in being “The Best“, avoiding mistakes at work.
Everyone strives for Excellence. Opportunities are few and candidates/Competitors
are more. Everyone wants to achieve or acquire those opportunities of “Promotion”, “Relocation”,”Maximum Hike”, “Hot technology to work for” and so on….
So we are doing more and more to achieve all above mentioned opportunities.

Those who get “Success” , find something “More” to “Achieve”.
Those who didn’t get anything, try even “More” to get it next time.

Finally : “Stress – Success Life Cycle”

lc

Conclusion :

“Having Ambitions is good but Obsession for anything is anytime harmful”.

As a Precaution : “Enjoy what you have , be ready to learn, be ready to improve, be ready to achieve , be ready for healthy competition,  to avoid your entry in  “Stress – Success Life Cycle“.

Does anyone really know why we say “God bless you,” after someone sneezes?

Hello Dear Friends,

Have you ever noticed we have a habit of saying “God Bless You“, when
someone sneeze near us?
Why we bless someone only when he/she sneezes, not while coughing, burping etc..

Let me tell you few interesting facts behind saying “Bless You!” while “Sneezing” :

1. One belief is that it originated in Rome when the subsonic plague was raging through Europe. One of the symptoms of the plague was coughing and sneezing,
and it is believed that Pope Gregory VII suggested saying “God bless you
after a person sneezed in hopes that this prayer would protect them from an otherwise certain death.

2. The expression may have also originated from superstition.
Some people believe that the custom of asking for God’s blessing began
when ancient man thought that the soul was in the form of air and resided in the body’s head.  A sneeze, therefore, might accidentally expel the spirit from the body
unless God blessed you and prevented this from occurring.

3. Some ancient cultures also thought that sneezing forced evil spirits out of the body
endangering others because these spirits might now enter their bodies.
The blessing was bestowed to protect both the person sneezed and others around him.

4. The heart was believed to momentarily stop during a sneeze (it doesn’t),
thus the “Bless you!” was uttered either as a supplication for life to return or
as a congratulation upon its successful restart.

Interesting Facts about sneezing :

1. Sneezes are an automatic reflex that can’t be stopped once sneezing starts.
2. Sneezes can travel at a speed of 100-150 miles per hour and the wet spray can radiate five feet.
3. People don’t sneeze when they are asleep because the nerves involved in nerve reflex are also resting.
4. Between 18 and 35% of the population sneezes when exposed to sudden bright light.
5. Some people sneeze when plucking their eyebrows because the nerve endings
in the face are irritated and then fire an impulse that reaches the nasal nerve.

World of Imagination – Be Imaginative !

Hello Everyone,

Being a girl , I love to be in my Imagination World.
And according to me Imagination is the main driving factor of Innovation.

We all seem to have an instinctive sense that kids are more creative than adults.
We don’t question it; we all intuitively just know it’s true and
we view it as a natural state for children. And it is.

When it comes to creativity in adults, our beliefs about it seem to change.
There are lots of perceptions in our ethos about creativity—that it’s elusive and mysterious,
that it comes in an “a-ha” moment that we can’t predict or control for, and
that any individual is either creative or not.
Somehow, what is totally natural for every child seems unnatural when we’re adults.

If below things were not Imaginative, You can think what would have happened :

1. After seeing birds flying, Wright Brothers imaginative why we people cannot fly?
And he crafted his imagination in the form of “Airplane”.

2. After seeing Stars/Moon in the sky, some great people imaginative how we can reach
Them, and then NASA scientists came up with Space craft.

3. All household Appliances like Vacuum Cleaner, Refrigerator, Geyser, Food Processor,
Roti Maker, Washing Machine, and a lot many …….
Are results of our Imaginations only.

4. All workplace facilities like VC sessions, Wifi offices, Smart Offices,
Biometric Attendance Systems, IVR Systems, Coffee Machines, Printers, Centralized Fire Alarm System
And so many other things which are making our life easy and effective, came out from our Imaginations.

5. Last but not the least few things out from my “Imagination World” :

-> After seeing so many deaths because of Airplane Crash, Road Accidents, Train Accidents, Wars
I have imaginative, why can’t we have Life saving jacket which will save us from Fire, Water,
and other Physical Injuries. Suit like Iron Man!
-> After seeing so many Robberies, Thefts, I have imaginative why can’t we have 1 centralized camera which will
Monitor each and everything and once that camera found anything Suspicious, it should alert Security Agencies.
So may be we can save many lives from Bomb Blasts, robberies and other Crimes.
-> After doing so many things manually daily, I have imaginative to automate them.

Imagination Everywhere :

Imagination, like creativity, is not for exclusive use during the visionary idea generation phase.
It is useful throughout the innovation process. For instance, in order to turn a new product idea
into a manufactured product, someone needs to visualize and design a production process.
Someone else needs to design the components and someone needs to design packaging
that not only protects the product but, in many cases, motivates people to pick up your boxed product,
look at it and buy it. In other words, for a truly innovative product, you want great imaginations at
every step of the innovation ladder.

Last few words :

Be Imaginative and Do Innovation!

In India, Is Education Playing a vital Role – Are we really Educated???

Hello Friends,

Now-a-Days you all must have observed that, Now Government is also
taking many steps in improving the literacy rate in India.

But Is Education really making a difference in our society? Are we really behaving as “Literates”?

A. In our Junior School itself, we have been taught about certain traffic rules to
– Save our and other’s life,
– Manage Traffic conveniently

Examples :

1. “Footpath should be used for walking, and roads for Driving Vehicles but are we following that?

2. Use “Zebra crossing for crossing road, vehicles should stop before Zebra crossing.

Unfortunately in many of our cities/villages we don’t have any Zebra Crossing yet,
but wherever we have, we stop our vehicles after Zebra Crossing when signal is “Red” not before it.

zebra

3. Not park our vehicles in “No-parking“. But we generally search for some space where we
can park our vehicle, without having any concern that it’s a Parking Area or not.

4. We don’t follow Traffic rules at all, like breaking Traffic Signals, Not wearing seat belts,
not wearing helmets, Talking on Mobile phones while driving, Wrong side over take and so many things.

And still we say that we are “Literates”.

B. From last year onwards, Mr. Narendra Modi started “Cleanliness Campaign“.
In our schools also, we must have taught that we should segregate waste.
I have seen many places where Dustbins are kept with Tag as “Dry waste”
and “Wet Waste”, but what we “Educated Persons” doing, without reading or
even after reading also, we throw wet waste in dry dustbin and vice versa.

At some places, segregating waste is compulsory, otherwise Fine will be charged.
So we did segregation, but we don’t want to follow this practice, if it is not compulsory
or no fine will be charged.

C. We have so many Laws against “Child Labor” from mid 90s, but we hardly listen that
someone is punished for violating “child Labor” laws.

We must have seen many Children working for “Highly Educated” society.

Conclusion :

Just reading books and getting good marks by writing correct answers in exams wouldn’t be
suffice. We should not show our degree to prove that we are literates, our actions should show that.

Requesting you all to follow what we have learned.
Rules are meant to “Follow” not to “Break”.

Follow Rules and ask others also to do the same, instead
looking someone breaking the “rules” and starting the same.
